There's something magical about enjoying brunch on a rainy day while perched above the city.
That's exactly what I found at Level 7 Rooftop Bar, nestled on the seventh floor of AC Marriott Hotel Raleigh North Hills.
The Experience
During my weekend stay at the AC Marriott, I discovered this rooftop gem was more than just a bar. While Saturday morning proved bustling (even with COVID-19 protocols in place, hence the mask 😷), Sunday offered the perfect brunch atmosphere, complete with the late Pastor Charles Stanley playing on the TV – an unexpected but fitting touch for a Southern Sunday morning.
The Food
- Omelet ($8USD): A generous creation stuffed with sausage, bacon, spinach, peppers, onions, and cheese
- Berry Parfait ($6USD): The unexpected star of the show – creamy yogurt topped with impressively fresh berries and crunchy granola
- Coffee ($4USD): Comes with free refills, perfect for a lazy brunch
Service
The staff, particularly my server Carly (who also works in sales) and Paul, maintained attentive service while adhering to COVID-19 safety protocols. Their attention to detail and masked service showed commitment to both hospitality and guest safety.
Verdict
While the entire brunch was enjoyable, the berry parfait stole the show with its fresh ingredients and perfect balance of flavors. For those visiting the Raleigh North Hills area, Level 7 Rooftop Bar offers not just a meal, but an experience – especially on days when you can enjoy the breathtaking outdoor seating view.
